Slab formwork rental – Łódź and the Łódź region
I rent system slab formwork to private investors and contractors in Łódź and the Łódź region. You do not buy equipment for a single build – you pay only for the time the slab actually needs it, and a civil engineer works out the quantities.
What a slab formwork set contains
- Slab props
- Height-adjustable steel props, chosen for the storey height and the load of fresh concrete.
- Tripods and heads
- Tripods hold the props steady during assembly; the heads keep the beams aligned and make striking easier.
- Timber beams
- I-section timber beams laid as primary and secondary beams – the grid that carries the decking.
- Formwork plywood
- Water-resistant decking that leaves the underside of the slab flat and smooth.
How the rental works, step by step
You send the dimensions
A slab drawing, or the area, slab thickness and storey height.
I size the set
I work out the number of props, beams and plywood sheets and the support spacing.
We agree the dates and the price
You get a rental price for the agreed period – no hidden costs.
Collection or delivery
Collect the equipment in Grodzisko near Rzgów, or we arrange delivery to the site.
Return after striking
Once the concrete has reached the required strength, you dismantle the formwork and return the set.
Which slabs the formwork suits
Slab formwork is used above all for monolithic slabs – reinforced concrete poured on site. Full decking carries the weight of the reinforcement and fresh concrete until the slab can work on its own.
Props and beams are also needed for beam-and-block floors (such as Teriva) and precast filigree slabs – there they provide temporary support for the beams or panels during assembly.
The striking date is always set by the site manager or the structural designer. Concrete reaches its design strength after about 28 days, so a rental is usually planned for several weeks.

Yes. A civil engineer sizes the set – the number and spacing of props and beams follow from the slab thickness and the support height.
Is the formwork suitable for a Teriva floor?
Yes. Beam-and-block floors such as Teriva need temporary support for the beams. For such a floor you rent props and beams without full plywood decking.
