Zbigniew Szwed – civil engineer
I have run EDBUD since 2009. I work as a site manager and investor supervision inspector, prepare cost estimates and rent out slab formwork in Łódź and the Łódź region.
One engineer, the whole building process
EDBUD was founded in 2009 as an engineering and technical consulting practice. For 17 years I have helped investors get through a build – from the concept and the estimate, through construction, to the handover of the finished building.
I combine three areas that are usually handled by different people on site: cost (estimates and bills of quantities), quality (construction management and investor supervision) and equipment (slab formwork rental). Decisions are made faster, and the investor has one person responsible for the whole.
I work with private investors building a house, with contractors and with institutions. I treat every build the same way: compliance with the design, the safety of people and an honest settlement.

- Slab formwork rentalComplete slab formwork sets for rent – sized by an engineer to the area, thickness and support height of your slab.
- Site supervision and construction managementConstruction management and investor supervision: site log, checks against the design, inspections of work and the documents needed to complete the build.
- Construction cost estimatesInvestor, tender and as-built cost estimates and bills of quantities – a reliable calculation of the cost of a build or renovation.
